First Look 07

I got to see my first 07 this weekend at a local rodeo....I have to say other than the badges and the tail lights you couldn't tell much diffrence in the 06. The badges are not my style and the tail lights are like the ones from the Dakota....kind of big and boxy. The dealer said he was going to buy as many of the 5.9 as he could get his hands on. He said he was very affriad of the 6.7 emmisions.....anyway just thought I would give you my first impressions.

I was the same way with the 06 when they first hit the ground but I grew to like them more than the 05's.....(thats why I bought one) I guess we all need time to settle in on it......I don't think we're going to let a thing like tail lights or badges keep us from getting that monster cummins.....

I didnt think the truck itself looked bad. I wasnt too partial to the badges. but really, who cares about the badges? Dodge is making the finest trucks with the finest motors in the Big 3 right now.

I thought the same thing when Dodge went to the 2nd gen, then fell in love with it. I hated the 3rd gens when they first came out, and then loved it enough to buy one. Within a few months, most folks will like it, mark my words...

Yes many will not buy something when they do not like the looks of it.

My self when I bought my 05 1500, I had wanted a Dakota but would not buy it because they made the changes to them in 05 and I though it was So when they were going to make the change in the 2007 to ULSD I went and got my 06 even thou I would not need it for another year. An them tail lights in the 2007 are plain uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy just like they are in Dakota.

IMHO

Dodge's tranny's might be a little rough around the edges, but they hardly ever leave ya on the side of the road!

OK, sled pullers - flame away!
