When I initially called them about the mistake, they told me to mount one up (see pics above) and if they looked ok they would work out a discount for me. Curious to see what would happen now that extra shipping is involved.
I gotta shop around again and also pull measurements on the truck to see where the 305's will sit on the 8.5" wheel. I would love to get the original set back but I'm leary of them sticking out too far.

I also found a guy selling 2 sets of H2 wheels, one grey with tires the other chrome and unmounted i believe. Whats a good price for these things, I might pick them up.

H2s are 8.5 wide and run a 315 tire.
I'd call and complain and get the wheels back, tell them you were expecting the 5.5 bs.
If you do a 6 inch lift later those will work pretty well.

You are correct, the 8.5's are perfect, but for a stock height truck. I think they would be tucked in too far for a truck with a 6" lift.
Guess I should just give up on tyring to find a wheel that would work on the truck now and after its lifted. My search continues.....

Thats true, something to think about then, because at the moment I'm not entirely sure the direction I want to take with this truck yet. They look awseome with 6" under them, but there are some great trucks with 3" under them as well, much like your own truck.

Maybe you can get Centerline to discount them enough to pick up a set of 1/2" spacers if you do go 6" of lift. That way if you do a system similar to mine you're covered. I don't think a 1/2" spacer would hurt anything.

Even with the 5.25 bs you can run 325's with a 3 inch lift, there are guys that I've seen do it with minimal rub... And IMO with some proper length control arms from someone like topgunz it'll push the axle forward and you won't have much of an issue with rubbing.
Even with a 6 inch lift and 37x12.50s 5.25bs might not push the wheel out far enough and might give it a "top heavy/skinny" type look... But you could probably use wheel spacers.
I'm personally a fan of the 2 and 3 inch systems at this time, 6 inches is just too much for me. The 2 and 3 inch systems seem more functional and more friendly as far as the mechanics of the drivetrain go.

Be careful here. You can't forget about the rear. Unless you run a different leaf pack in the rear that moves the axle back a little you can ram the tire into the bed side with that little amount of backspacing and cause body damage. Ask me how I know.....

Wow, never heard of that. But yeah with a 3 inch front lift you're also gonna want to run leaf packs to get the rear up so it sits level. Or are you speaking of complete repalcement with dual purpose springs?

I am referring to a complete replacement pack, though not necessarily the dual purpose. I did my damage with Carli's mini-pack.
For point of reference, I'm running 325/70-17s on 17"x9" wheels with 5.71" b.s.

Yeah, is it hitting the lip? Got pics? I'm about to see a buddy after getting off and he can roll my fender lip if needed.

Yeah, hit the lip and bent it up enough to cause paint to flake off the side of the bed. Believe it or not, Dodge did the repairs under warranty! I was drivng in the dunes in Pismo and went over a berm the quad guys were using.
