i originally bought the bushwacker extenda flares, took them back. crap in my opinion, didnt fit at all, wasnt gonna drill holes in a 46,000$ truck to make
300$ flares fit right. ordered a set of egr's and they fit awsome, gasket was way better and they FIT my .02

What flares in the original post? Maybe I missed it...anyways, I have the power wagon flares and they don't fit too well. No matter what I try they have a gap on the rear two on the back/bottom. I got some 3m tape from ATS and gonna try that and see if I can close it up. If not I'll probably try some differnet flares. The front two power wagon flares fit perfect, and very easy install.
Never mind, I see they are the pocket flares...maybe there is some manufactering problems...or maybe some slight difference in trucks...or maybe the installer...?

we double checked the numbers right on the flares they were right, they didnt fit the body lines on the truck and didnt line up with the hole in the rear. the egrs are from a local distrubitor but any truck shop should be able to order them.. now i just need to figure out some mudflaps..

Yup, SoCal, that is a nice truck!!
I know this is probably a day too late, but I'll tell you the story of my Bushwacker Street Flare installation....
I had got to the point you guys were on the rear. They just liked about 1/2" lining up with the factory holes. The more I messed with it the more mad I got. I was almost to the point of drilling holes -- I'd actually gathered the drill up, but couldn't bring myself to do it.
I finally broke down and called a buddy of mine that has the bushwacker flares. He said maybe you need to swap the sides, like I had them backwards. I told him they look just the same, I couldn't tell any difference in them and they weren't marked Left/Right or anything like that.
I thought he was full of it, but I went out and put the one that I was trying to put on the left side of the rear onto the right. Low and behold it lined right up.
Even though both rears look identical at first glance, they're not...

Flares are BW pocket style.
After some remounting the flare now fit a lot better. They did require some modification and some drillig to get them to fit the contour of the fender and bed. I used silicone in the holes i drilled to prevent rusting. They look a whole lot better. I talked to the guy at the body shop and told him about the trash in them. He said if they could not correct the problem with wet sanding, rubbing compound and wax, they would just reapaint them. He said what ever made me happy.
Oh pics to come! I still have the stock wheels, but it looks pretty good. Wheels soon
