My neighbor said that same thing about himself but that was 'cause he poured gas in a running lawn mower and the muffler lit it and him up. Ouch!!

I figured! Most techs that get down to business, can make good money, but as you said earlier, the yippity yappity ones lose their butt!. I still argue that most warranty times and recall times are very tough to beat or get done in the alloted time. Yes, after doing tons of them, I could do it, but then you have to figure the paperwork, getting the car to and from the bay , ect., ect. We were a small dealer, so no porters and no service writers to help. DC doesn't take all those things into consideration. It would be hard to figure different rates for shops with different personell, but you know yourself that all makes a difference! Anyhow, I think I have veered off of the original subject of the thread! LOL Sorry for the hijack!
