Extra Dashboard Gauges

Why doesn't Dodge or any truck manufacturer make space on the instrument panel for additional gauges?

It would be nice to have 2" diameter knock out spaces for additional gauges (fuel pressure, trans temperature, etc.).

How do we get the manufacturers attention?

That would be like them saying it was ok to bomb out trucks...

I agree though... I just put mine on the top of the dash.

There's a company that makes a nice two gauge mount for the slot underneath the radio. I believe it will only work with trucks without the electronic transfer case and heated seat options.

I know I have an old Volvo 240 and it has two spaces in panels for extra gauges. On the turbo models one was for the boost. But it would have been a nice addition at least for a tranny temp gauge. I am still trying to figure out what to do in my 06' I like the compactness of the Commander but my dealer would probably void my warranty for it. But they don't mind analog gauges. But the problem is I want to keep my grab handle... SO back to the point I wish there was 2 dead spots for gauges and the SRT pillar stock... 3 spots would have been perfect.

I am leaning toward these...
and this to get 3...

autometer makes a kit for installing three gauges into the little glove box right below the heater controls for out interior design. i like mine cause it tilts the gauges right up towards the driver.

My 2002 gmc gasser came with a trans. temp guage. You'd think that would be important in a diesel, as a lot or maybe even most of use them to haul or tow.
