Wink Exhaust Brake Shifter Switch-w/Pics

I originally had this switch on my shifter for my pacbrake but the rattle was driving me I'm sure this is familiar:

So I bought a B&M shifter with the Line Lock button and removed the spring switch and replaced it with a round switch. I need to shave a little more off to get it to fit a little better.

It cleaned up nice and best of all no rattle.

Man, its about time someone puts the B&M shifter handle on one of these trucks! Thanks for posting the pics. Did you have any difficulties putting the handle on the shifter at all?

Here is my version of the anti rattle 100 dollar switch. Floor dimmer switch from a 90s chev brand new from napa. Works great don't even have too take your eyes off the road.

No, it went pretty easy. I really like it.

Nice work on the switch. My friends that have manual trannies and exhaust brakes usually buy an Eaton Fuller shifter and mount the button right under the gear splitter. Like yours, no rattle.

My PacBrake on/off is the "Aux" on the remote. Actually, all six items I have switched run from the same remote. Certainly no rattle, no holes to drill, nothing to mount (involving tools for the remote itself), and not one wire has had to be run into the cab.

I am one of the lucky ones. My switch for the ex brake never did rattle. but when I installed a Gear vendors splitter I could not put two switches on the shift lever so I used a Hurst Tee handle and I installed a switch in the end of it to shift the gear vendors. The Tee handle has been in almost every standard shift truck I have had since the sixties and the Hurst name is almost worn off.
