Excursion/Suburban fighter?

Excursion/Suburban fighter?
Read something the other day that said Dodge was considering or is planning to build an Excursion/Suburban type vehicle. Any truth to this rumor? Since Ford caved to the tree-huggers and is cancelling the Excursion (even though they make a bundle on each one sold), it seems to me that Dodge has room to grab some market share in this sector.

This doesn't do anything to answer your original question, but I'm almost positive the Excursion is around thru the '06 model year in diesel power only. You might want to search out a past thread regarding the Ram in a "Mega-Cab" configuration.

I'd love to see an offering from DC similar to the Excursion. I have an 01' PSD Excursion Limited that's been a good vehicle.
FYI- Ford has been threatening to discontinue the Excursion since 00' when I bought mine.
