Sounds good. On the freeway it sounds stock even at 85mph and at idle sounds only a little more aggressive. Midrange and up it screams.
I wouldn't waste any money on a muffler.
I haven't pulled with it yet so I don't know if it'll drone???

well i just replaced the muffler on my 04.5 diesel w a cat on it with the mbrp 4"
way smaller than stock
with no muffler or tail pipe but through the cat it was not very loud
with the mbrp muffler its a little louder than the stock muffler
i dont think a straight pipe w no muffler would be so bad
just my opinion

I want to buy a muffler delete pipe also......just not sure how loud it will sound running a 5" pipe, from the turbo to the tip, with no cat or muffler.
I guess I could just unclamp the MBRP muffler, bolt in the delete pipe and see how it sounds.
