EVIC Issues....
Last night after engine start up I looked up at the EVIC and noticed the compass point was listed but all the other readouts where showing, ---*F, ---DTE, etc.
Drove it home, shut it off, restarted and all the readouts back on. This is the second time this has happened in the last 2 weeks. Both times the temp was about 25*F outside. Truck has about 67G's on the odometer and no add on ECM stuff.
Just some cold weather electron farts or pending EVIC doom ???
Any Ideas ????

Mine on my 05 has read -25* due to the weather up here and it still worked ok. Have not had problems where it doesn't READ anything.
Maybe a loose wire inside the overhead. I think it is only 2 screws and you can pop it off to check.

We had a stretch of -28F for about a week back in February here and all worked fine. And all is fine now. Got the tools in the truck. She does it again. I do the NASCAR tear down on the spot......
