Emblems, remove to paint then put back on?

Can you remove the emblems on the truck and then put them back on? i want to paint mine but dont know if it is feasable? thanks

Fishing line to saw through the foam and Eraser wheel or Goof off and hours of elbow to remove glue.

I took all of mine off except the Ram on the tailgate and I intend to rough up and paint only the Cummins logo black to put back on eventually...

I should pull off the Ram and do the same actually...Eventually...

I removed them, painted them black, then put them back on with 3m double sided tape. That was over 2.5 years ago and they're still holding strong.

they are originally held on with the 3m doublesided tape, so putting them back on with it will work fine!

And yes, the safest way to paint them would be remove, paint and re-install...
