Question Electric engine water cooling fans vs. OEM belt driven

Has anyone out there tried an electric cooling fan setup on the heavier 3500 5.9 L Cummins? They should work great unloaded but what about under a heavy load??

I have an 05 3500 with a few basic mods. intake, exhaust, bullet chip, High Ram air inlet "elbow".

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Racing_Joe66 did a long thread on this a few weeks ago. He used a 2500 4WD 1gen that drove all over pulling a Hot Shot setup or something. He indicated they were reliable and just as efficent as pulley driven fan. Don't see any difference between 3500 and 2500 as far as cooling requirments. Not sure but believe cooling is same between two. Personally can't find any reason to spend 550 dollars plus another 250 for a front mount to cool what is already being cooled correctlly. No real indication was ever presented that fuel milage was improved, which was crux of my issues. I had previouslly found no milage improvement from conversion. JMHO
