I have firestones and after 42k they are still holding up quite well.

I replaced my OEM Wranglers with Michelins. Only about 5K on them so far, but seem good. Have several heavy tows on them already, and so far so good.

I have used Michelin LTX, then Toyo M55's and now...believe it or not...I am using General Ameritracs.
The LTX is a great tire and I would net around 65-70,000 miles with rotations.
the Toyo's would net me 120K miles with or without rotations but the downside of these tires was road noise and in the winter...they are so hard that icey roads did not mix well with them.
I have 92K miles on the Ameritracs and will get another set at around 100K.
I rotated them at 30K and keep the pressures at 80 all around. I found them at a Walmart in Pendleton OR for 135 each and at Tirerack for 137 each. I am going the Walmart route because they offer a warranty all over North America and there are plenty of stores. They offer road hazard and rotations for 7.50 per tire too.

My first set of Ameritracs on the other 07 wore fast yet these are wearing excellent...only thing I changed was the tire pressure.

I have Nitto Terra-Grapplers on my truck. They ride great but they seem to be wearing fast. I have ~8000 miles on them and they are probably worn down about 30% from new.

I too like the General Ameritracs.
I've had Generals on both my 04.5 & 07.5 duallies, average about 80k each set with a couple rotates at 65 p.s.i. Tried airing them up to max but they rode a little hard. The Generals that came on the 04.5 were RWOL and on the 07.5 were black walls. They were the stock tires that came on each truck however the tread between the two types was a little different. I didn't like how the black walls handled in the snow last year, towing or empty. SO with the 2nd set of tires for the 07.5 I got the RWOL Generals and we'll see if they do as good in the snow this year on the 07.5 as they did on the 04.5.

When I bought my truck many moons ago it had Yokohama's on it, I thought that was an excellent tire. I just can't bring myself to pay the price to have them on again.

My oem Generals went 95k. Michelins got to expensive, so I've got Firestones now. 33k and doing good, plus affordable.

I had Ameritracs that lasted to 62k and replaced them with nitto terra grapplers, worst tire choice I ever made, ride a pull great nice off the pavement but at 28k and 4 rotations, 4 or 5 flat fixes 4 are at 3/32".

Talk about throwing money away, and my wife drives the truck 95% of the time.
