None taken! But does it still make me a proper Calif Lady if My 99 smokes like a freight train, My 6.7 is already "DPF less" etc. (can't get it to smoke enough) and I own an 05 Jeep liberty Diesel with a one and only ATS torque converter, ready to bomb as soon as I get some extra cash!!!!!

Diesel Lady , what DPF delete kit are you running? H&S? or other... I like how you think ! I'm thinking of kicking the "Can" into the garage corner as well. I hear that you have to reset codes with the Edge juice every time you drive it though... Is this the case? sounds like a bit of a PITA. Might be worth it if they ever get the Latest Smarty out !

 

Yes, I got one of the first H&S kits, and Yes with the juice you have to wait for it to clear codes on startup. But I have to say it is worth it until someone comes up with the software to stop regen and EGR. You should pull your intake manifold off and take a look at how much soot is covering the inside of that thing. You will put up with clearing codes on start up real fast. It is absolutely amazing to me that the engineers at Chrysler would even think of putting this truck together with all this CRAP on it. I think it was 5 minutes after I got it home from the dealer on day 1 and I had the PCV vented to the outside air. I have seen how the fords and chevys suck oil fumes into the intake system. Oil seeps out of every connection no matter how tight you get them. Fills the turbo with Black oil. Intercooler too. Now they add soot to the mix and it sticks to the sides of the manifold and grid heater etc. Deeeescusting. Okay, Rant over.
Besides, it sounds good with a 5"turbo back exhaust system on it.
