What kind of mileage city/hwy, and towing do you guys get with your Megacabs? Is it worse than non-megacabs in general due to added weight of the Megacab?

I have just 1200 miles now on my 6.7 and just did my first tow of 400 miles (roughly 10K lbs.) I drove 65 mph average and I got 9.2 on the overhead when empty. Truck tank was full and I coasted into the gas station with the low fuel light on 20 miles previously... The needle was below the E and I was really worried I was going to run out while towing... I got only 305 miles on that tank... I was surprised how bad the mpg was. I've been getting 12 to 13 around town with 75% city / 25% hwy. On the highway unloaded, I got it up to 15... I'll be towing again in a couple of weeks for Thanksgiving...

Is anyone seeing an increase in mpg with an increase in miles on their 6.7?

 

I have about 25k on my 06' longbed conversion, with the added weight I am getting 21.2 at 70mph and around town I get 18.0 average. Towing another truck behind me I am getting 16.6. It does get better with time. My buddie has an 08' and he is getting about 14 around town and about 16 on the fwy. He has only 1,500 miles on it so far, but when towing his travel trailer he is getting 16.5mpg. He just traded in a hemi for the diesel and is a very happy dodge owner.
both of our trucks are autos, he has the new six speed.

with the 37's on it, smarty on 1 and doing 83mph, i get 18.7mpg. I need to keep my foot out of it to get some good numbers!
