Mega A/C fix
Was at the dealer today for a new TSB for the "one two shuttle shift".
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=158710
They are replacing the governor solenoid. Anyway, if you are having issues with low volume air out of the dash, not associated with a broken blend door, this is what I am told Dodge has approved: On the Mega there are a couple of screens in the duct work that act as a dampner to direct the air to the duct to rear seats. They have to strip the dash back like the blend door fix, and they remove these resrtictive screens thus improving air flow out of the dash, especially the duct near the drivers door. It is covered under warrantee if you complain of low air volume. I just had the blend door fixed a month or so ago. If I had known about this then, I could have had it done all at once. I am going in for this on thursday and I will let you know the results. The service manager has a Mega and said it was a major improvement and did not significantly reduce the air to the rear seats. She also said these filter screens will not be installed on the 08 model Mega Rams.

Advocate of getting the ban button used on him...
Anybody know of a Mega sized drop down screen to watch videos on? I have a fairly old 7" wide portable DVD player that has now stopped working. I would like to fine a good one that mounts to the roof but since it's a Mega Cab I would also like a Mega sized DVD player. Plus my daughter would love it. I have searched around but don't seem to find anything very big. I am also guessing it is because they would be a bit heavy and hard to mount real securely.

Hey TXFiremedic,
Can I get a number from ya'? Also, I'm a brother firemedic from Oregon. Local 1159, nice to meet you. This is my first post on this forum. New to the site but not new to diesels. Had a '01 powerstroke with the 7.3L, loved the motor for reliability but little power. Now I have a '07 megacab with the 5.9L-- Wow what a truck! LOVE IT.
