Re:Drivers side window moans
;D My truck windows do that in the summer here in AZ.
I have noticed it does it most often after I have washed it.
I no it is the rubber seals doing it because if you wet the
window down, it quits until the window is dry again and then
only for a short while.

Re:Drivers side window moans
Hey Ram lon ON,
I am just up the river from you in Bullhead. I doubt it has much to do with the heat because my dakota's power windows have worked fine for 5 years now without ever putting anything on them. 3 windows on my wifes 300m sound fine after three years but the drivers side makes a racket that makes me cringe every time I roll it down. My new Ram's driver side window is starting to make a little noise. The wifes car is out of warranty so I will try the silicon on that to see if it will fix it, but it does seem like a band-aid approach like Lightman has suggested. I will report back.

Re:Drivers side window moans
Silicon doesn't help at all on the wife'a car, but like I said earlier, it is more of a loud binding knocking sound instead of a moaning rubbing thing happening. Got that! ;D

Well I took her into the dealership today. INCREDIBLE LUCK - both the CD player didn't work and the window moaned like a prom queen - right when the service writer was sitting in my truck! Usually I have a problem and then it works fine when I take it in, I guess it was just my day. They ordered me a new cd player, although - they can't get my 6 CD's out!!!! >
