the beeper plug on my 00 was under the panel that sets below the steering wheel. could reach under there with my right hand and feel it while setting in the drivers seat. easier to get to when kneeled down outside the drivers door. just a factory plug that had about 15-20 wires goin through it, all that it seemed to control was the beeper, no probs after 50 K miles. hope it helps u out on the 99.

Today was a very good day! I fixed the seat belt chime and the door bell chime. Under the
drivers seat I unpluged the conector to the seat belt and added a u shaped wire in the
female end and put it back together. No more seat belt chime. Then I thought, if I could
get to the switch at the door latch, I could do the same thing. So I took the drivers side
door panel off and had a look. There were four wires running up the edge of the door near
the latch. Three were to the lock, Unlock feature. The purple one was a ground for the
door bell chime. I got up my nerve and cut the purple wire. No more door bell chime when
the door is open. For me this is good. I also noticed the chime didn't come on when the
head lights are on and when the drivers door is opened the dome light doesn't come on.
This is fine with me as I can turn the dome light on with the key fop unlock feature if I
need it. I have enjoyed getting to know all you guys and reading all your posts.
Thank You Tom

Peanut, now that you cut the wire -
Seat belt warning buzzer - page 43 of owner's manual (04 anyway)- note - DC does not recommend that you do this - I did - drove me nuts around the ranch.
1. With ignition in Off position, buckle driver's seat belt.
2. Start the engine and wait for the seat belt light to go out.
3. Within 60 seconds of starting the engine, unbuckle then re-buckle the driver's seat belt at least 3 times within 10 seconds, ending with the seat belt buckled.
4. Turn off engine. A single chime will sound to confirm that you have successfully completed the programming. The light will still come on and stay on if the belt is not buckled but the dinger - she no ding
It can be re-activated by repeating the same procedure.
