I have a 2005 with 400miles on it and noticed at night when i have the lights are on dim that the dimmer light will flash very lightley. Its bright enough to get on your nerves. Has anyone else had this issue? I guess ill let them check it out wed when they put on a new transfer case selector switch cause my service 4wd light is on. I hope these small things are not a sign of things to come cause i love my truck. by the way im new here hello everyone!

Welcome! I'm going to take a stab that your switch is in a position that the reostat doesn't like - if you turn it slightly one way or the other it may get better. Dodge headlight switches are almost as infamous as their auto trannies. I've put three headlight switches and 4 auto trannies into my '98.

Get the dealer to put a new headlight switch in for you (complain to them that it gets hot after your lights are on for awhile and you can smell a slight burning rubber smell only after your lights are on for a while and feel that your switch is getting hot - that should get you a new switch without argument).
