This is my first dodge pickup sense 1977.I am sure glad I bought it.I owned a 2002 chevy 1500 Z-71 4X4 hunk of junk,(transfer case replaced 5000 miles, yoke in drive shaft replaced 11,000 miles, interior locks fell off,Piston slap on the motor, chevy says is normal.Whew, sure glad I bought my new 2004 cummins diesel.I love this truck. This truck seems stout,I really like the way it feels and handles.Hopefully a new long time Dodge owner.coobie

Love to drive and tow

Yep,
These trucks are sooo cool, when Im towing down the road they have always instilled incredible confidence. Its all I can expect from a truck, power, mpg, comfort, longevity and looks. I have heard friends complain about there trucks, kinda under there breath, they dont get that it can be better than that. Its the loyalty to the brand that daddy rode I guess. This is my second diesel dodge and if they keep doin it right Im with them 100%. Been nearly 200k in my 93 to my new 03. Someday my kronies will wake up! Keep it up Dodge!

I FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT MY TRUCK AS ANYONE WOULD. THIS IS MY SECOND DODGE 2500, MY FIRST ONE WAS A 2000 AND I DID NOT WANT TO GIVE IT UP AT FIRST. I THOUGHT THAT THE NEW ONE MIGHT NOT BE AS GOOD,BUT I WAS WRONG. I THINK THIS IS ALOT BETTER TRUCK.I JUST BOUGHT A FEW GOODIES FOR IT AND CAN'T WAIT TO PUT THEM ON.PILLAR MOUNT GAUGES,AIR RAID INTAKE, AND QUADZILLA TOW BOX.

I got mine last week. Only one guy from the shop bothered to go out and look at it. Another guy got a left over 03 Ford 150 a while back and they tramped out ot see it. They berated Dodge now. Today I was asked if I had 14" tires on it.
I see it as a bad case of truck envy. This truck is SOOO much better the the others in the lot, they want nothing to do with it. One guy started parking in another lot so he won't park near mine, he's park next/near me for 13 years, last week he moved his.
I didn't buy this truck to better them, it's just a fine truck, and if it jerks their chain "all the better".

Thumbs up Sweeper54.I am with you 110%

Same problem where I work. All the Guys went out to see the new duramax chevy a guy just bought, only a couple came to see my dodge,I hope to hell this baby outlasts the chevy,in every way shape and form.I really don,t care what they think. This truck seems very well built.First dodge sense 1977.I used to be a GM/ford fan also. There are two other guys I work with that have dodges,we have formed are own little parking area.No ford or GM parking coobie

Talking I Love my new truck!

I cant say enough about my new Dodge, everything is so great.! I was a Chevrolet fan, had a 1994 Z71. Great truck,no problems with it. But you cant compare it to the Dodge, the brakes, the power, the mpg. I have 1,400 miles on mine and I am getting 18.1 mpg. That is great! I cant wait to drive it. I work with some Ford guys who made fun of my truck, today one of them asked me if he could drive my truck? See ya!

Where I live there are lots of secondary highways with lots of rolling hills and steep grades. It's a wonderful thing to be able to put the truck in 6th with 3000 lbs of hardwood in the back and maintain 60 mph, never having to downshift.

Coobie, i dont think you have to worry about the duramax outlasting your new dodge. I think the dodge truck is as good if not better than the chevy, and i know the CUMMINS will outlast the duramax with no problems. Tell him youll haul it to the shop for him when he gets his whole injection system replaced at about 70,000 miles.
My 94 dodge has 160,000 miles on it, and it starts better cold or hot than any duramax or powerstroke ive ever seen I have more respect for the duramax now than i used to, but they just wont last like a cummins.

SBENNETTLAWN You don't have to yell
I you really love your truck but you could speak alittle softer
As the rest of you can see we all love these things
My wife picks at me and calls it a putt putt because I'm always plugging it in But when it comes time to go somewhere you always want to go in it because of the Heated Seats
It's my first REAL truck with a REAL motor ans I love it. I would only get rid of it for another one
