www.excelaguard.com Btw, this is what I have on my '07. The one on my '98 (pic in one of my posts) was designed by me and built by a buddy - you can't buy one - it was a one off custom design that I sold to member off the DTR from Quebec after I sold the truck.

No it doesn't look trashed but not to affend you it looks like something out of Mad Max. Just not for me to big

No offense taken. At the time, I didn't like what was available on the market (Ali-Arc), so I designed my own that would actually stand up to something. It served its intended purpose well.

I like it Festus, other than all the square lights. It is a tough looking bumper.

My choice on the lights was pure function, not what was the trend or hype at the time. I have settled on reliable lighting equipment depending on the purpose and the places I drive that I will not deviate from so long as they are available. Expensive doesn't necessarily mean better - there are better lights out there other than PIAA and Light Force that are far cheaper and stand up better to the environment of my travel - bulbs are also a factor.

Sorry, the one off my '98 you guys are commenting on was sold to a member from this site.

This is the new truck: https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...9&d=1171775382 This one is 3/8ths aluminum. The old one on my '98, was only 1/4".

How you gonna keep that aluminum from oxidizing? Thats my biggest gripe with the aluminum bumpers, lots of elbow grease and wax. The ones that are coated will even look bad without a lot of upkeep.

I used to drive OTR. I have the polish we used to use on Alcoa wheels on them. Polish it once a year and that's it - apply wax from the wash gun at the car wash in between after washing.
