Denver area dealer repair help

Took my truck into Cherry Creek Dodge to get a steering issue fixed, and they turned it into a soup sandwich. Steering is a lot worse (very loose and making a lot of clunking sounds now). All they did was throw parts at it over a 2-week period and charge me too much for it. I wanted to take the truck to a different dealer to have it fixed under warranty. Anyone know who in Denver would be a good choice?

I used CC Dodge quite a bit for warranty work. I've had good and bad experiences with them. Last dealer to work on my truck was Go on Arapahoe for the h46? recall. If you can't get the desired results from a dealer, you may give Diesel Repair and Performance a try in Parker. I've had e-test done there and an injector replaced last year. Tom seems to be a staight shooter.

If you don't mind driving to Fort Collins, then Fort Collins Dodge has been very good to me. They seem to know these trucks. Talk to Rob.

I don't know about the service department, but I've had great dealings with Christopher's Dodge with sales and parts.

Christopher Dodge is a bunch of crooks! Had a new 01 Ram 1500, went through 3 rear axles in about 3000mi from new. Went to arbitration with Christophers and they wouldn't deal with me at all. Said I abused the truck and needed to buy a 3/4ton when I told them I'd pulled a 3500lb trailer with it!
I wouldn't p!ss on them if they were on fire!

Oh, same goes for Broadway Dodge! Those thieving liars re-nigged on selling me a new truck after we made the deal and I came back with a cashiers check for the purchase price on a truck that took them 6 hours to produce (many stories from " it's in our storage lot" to "we have to do a dealer trade", etc...). Then tried to keep the deposit I placed earlier for them to "go get" the truck, stating that the truck they finally found me after jerking me around for an entire day "had more options". Wierd, it stickered for about $1k more than the truck they duped me into hanging around for, yet they would only let it out the door for $4k more than I had signed up for! Those 'tards were really asking for a brick thru the front window!

This was 9 years ago?

All my dealings with them have been in the last year or so. Maybe have some better people there now. I don't know.

Yeah, I like Tom. I've used him before on some minor out of warranty repairs when I got home from Iraq. Only reason I used Cherry Creek Dodge is because they had a shuttle that could get me back home. I'll be going back to Tom for my injectors. CCD refused to even look at them, told me all the smoke was because I didn't drive my truck hard enough, despite my protests to the contrary and a persistent CEL. Tom's crew diagnosed a bad injector and worked with me to pass my e-test until I could afford the repair. Only reason I wanted a dealership now, is to take in my receipts from CCD and show them I still have the problem, and see what they can do for me. CCD won't return my calls regarding my issues with their service department, and I haven't even been undiplomatic, yet.

Hopper,

When I had service done at CCD there was a 3 yr 50k warranty on the work they did if you paid for it, not waranty work. If you are in that time frame you should press them for it. Good luck! They're are not going to want to do it. Maybe have another dealer do the inspection and then take it back to CCD for the work. Yes, a pita, but it may work.
