I personally took them off just to make it easier to wax. I only left the megacab and the ram head on the tailgate. Those too will be coming off shortly. The badges look real good on the beer fridge in the garage!

leave the ram head on the tailgate....the rest of them gotta go!!
Guys who give a hoot will do a double take and look for your cummins or hemi badge and then they'll notice there are no badges and think that it's totally cool....
Those who debadge will give you a nod of approval or a thumbs up kind of like a club or a secret society, no discussion necessary....

I like the look of a clean truck as well.
I only left the Ram head on the gate and the big C,looks a lot better I think now I need to add some tint to the front windows.

I didn't use fishing line, I used plastic putty scrapers and a hair dryer to heat the glue. then I used the chemical and rubbed it off with the plastic scrapers. There were a few minor, very fine scratches, Turtle wax scratch and swirl remover took care of them.

I used the 3M eraser wheel. It's the same as the yellow rubber erasers that you used in school. Use the 3M wheel dry, Then go over it with adhesive remover to clean up the residue. It sounds harder than it really is. I did my tailgate when it was about 40* outside then the rest of the truck when it was 75* It's much easier on a warmer day.

I was probadge until I saw two different debadged trucks up close in person. They looked awesome! Photos just don't seem to do justice to how good it really looks. I got rid of the ram's head a long time ago but as soon as it warms up a little more the rest are coming off!

Debadged, if Dodge wants me to advertise for them, they can send me a check. I used a hair dryer, decal remover, rubbing compound and elbow grease. I like the idea of the 3M eraser wheel. Easier to wash and wax. I don't care who knows my truck is a one ton.
