Did he give an explanation as to why they wouldn't be selling them anymore? Most likely a bean counter related cost cutting measure.
I'll be holding on the mine as well.

Ten rules to follow:

Rule #1: Never beleive a salesman.

The other 9 don't matter.

i agree- i would not believe a word a saleman told me- from my experience, 99% of them know less about the vehicles they are selling, than my wife!

Would not believe salesman for anything. However I did read-- I think it was "Trucking" mag-- that Dodge was going to new crew cab in '09 remake. I think it possible that just like they did away with "extended" cab and made the "crew cab" with a compromise in overall length in order to save money from having two models, unlike Ford that kept both an extended cab and a full size crew cab, that they just might be doing it again. But-- I know nothing.

Yea, I read that on fordownscummins.com. Just kidding, seems a little soon for a sales weasel to single source that kind of info.

Hahahaha!!!! I dont care who you are, that there is funny!!!

And that salesman is full of it, in my opinion. Ive yet to meet a salesman that actually knows what theyre talkin about. Look at Dodges track record, theyve always been different. Everybody cried for a crew cab from 94-02, then they got half a crew in 03...still complaining about it, its not like Fords..., so they one upped everybody. I dont see Dodge going with a cab like Fords, which I for one like. I like having a manufacturer that doesnt follow along with others and offer the same crap as the others. You want a Mega, only one has it (barring that Tundra MaxiCab or whatever it is) you want four forward opening doors, but not a whole crew cab. Only one has it (again, omitting the imports, they tend to blend stuff together)

hey!!!! I DOOO know all about it....
I drove a quadcab with my sons car seat in back..and after taking a contortion class I was able to get in that spot you call a drivers seat..altho it was a little uncomfortable chewing on the steering wheel. I was able to manage.
I think soulezoo nailed it... they are going to make your quadcab more manly like the megacab...no more tacoma sized cab for you rusty...

Salesman told me when I bought my 04 1500 that after that year they were stopping regular cab truck production, guess I'm driving a ghost truck then.
