Dash lights dimming. not grid heaters

I was driving home last night and I thought I saw my dassh lights dim so I started to see if it did it again and it did. I got off the highway to get a better look at what might be going on. The truck did it again but the truck ran fine the volt meeter didn't move and the headlights didn't dim??

Any ideas????

I would have to say check the batteries and clean all the cables first. Not a very common problem. Maybe have a parts store check the alternator too. Weak batteries, bad diodes in alternator could casue it too. Any codes? Key on/off 4 times ending in the on position and codes should read in the odometer display.

No codes at all either, I was thinking of taking it to the parts store. Thanks for the reply.
