PSC does the nicest job on porting, so you are good to go there. I still dont think you should need it, and its going to affect your braking at slow speeds. I still highly recommend replacing the tierods first to see if that resolves some of your issues.
IF you know how to weld, you can make your own crossover steering by buying tube, inserts and TRE's and be way ahead of the game.
