Cupholder Light

I read a good while back about adding this light to an 04.5 w/6spd. Someone even gave the part #. I can't seem to find it in the search. I was by the dealership this morning and thought I might stop and ask about it. Well when I asked the parts guy about it, he looked at me like a calf staring at a new gate. Of course he couldn't find it and has never heard of it. . Can someone help me out to find this thread?
Thanks Wayne

not sure if it's the same for manuals as automatics, but I bought the little light part from the *********** for like $15. They wanted to charge an hour of labor to install it, I took it home, and did it in like 5 minutes. I removed the one screw underneath that useless little plastic hook on the passenger side of the dash, by their left knee and the whole front center panel can come off. Then it's just a matter of putting it in the slot and attaching the prewired plug! It mounts way up like just below the CD player. The light output is not impressive, but it does also illuminate the ashtray too!

Mine has a cubby hole at the bottom in front of the shifter. Right under the top of this is a hole. Looks like a light would go there. I would think dodge uses one wiring harness for all trucks and should be a plug for a light behind the bezel. Someone posted the part # for this light about 2 yrs. ago but dang if I can find it.

I ordered the OE light from dodgeparts.com over a year ago. I have the order confirmation that show product LAMP ASH RECEIVER, but no part number. I can not find the part number and searches through the OE catalog does not find it. I will see if I can find the part number and post it. It is the light that fits above the cup holder.

UPDATE: Found the part number 55361226AA LAMP ASH RECEIVER.

Go to dodgeparts.com. Click on Part Number tab on top menu. Enter the part number and Dodge. Price has increased to $17.75, I paid $15.99.

I just went to dodgeparts.com and it keeps saying parts not found. I might be doing something wrong. I entered the part #. Still not found.

Sorry missed a step. Go to this link or click on OEM Catalog, then click on Part Number tab at top. Then you can enter the number and Dodge.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but has anyone added the light to an '06 ? Was the wiring there?

Also interested in a light for an 06 auto with buckets. There is a what feels like a one inch opening above the forward most cubby on the center console. It would be nice to have a light down there so I dont have to use my little XM reciever as a flashlight.

I got one of those 3 led lights that plug in to accessory outlet, it has self adheaaring stuf on the back or it. Each one of the tthree lights is on a swival, so you can direct 3 seperate beams of light. I stuck mine up under on the side, the only drawback is the wire comeing up to the outlet plug, which has the switch on it.
