Oh, and did you notice how the stretch the vinyl flooring over the top of the cup holders for the back seat??? Seems like it would've been cheaper just to leave them be. Oh well, they just got sticky and gross in my SLTs, don't miss the rear cupholders anyway.

Maybe we should start an ST owner's club on here.
I think I have an SL truck. I have manual windows and locks but I have cruise/ac and a cd/radio system as well as carpet.........

If you have a manual, you will have to ground one of the pins to have high idle. Search for it. I did it and it works well on cold mornings.

I looked at my 04 ST automatic with a dealership guy and concluded it was built without a speed control servo. They said it would need that part and then dealer enabling/programming. I'm not 100% sold on the programming part but the lack of a servo helps explain why just installing switches didn't work.

OK, Followup Question>
I found a used servo on ebay with a cable. Is it reasonable to expect it would plug right into my wiring harness, etc. if it wasn't originally build with a servo?

I guess to be certain you'd have to find a wiring diagram and see if the pins are populated in the connector, or find a truck the same year as yours and compare connectors. If that's not possible, you could go ahead and buy the servo and always re-sell the servo on flea-bay if it doesn't work out.

Bringing this back from the dead, I have an 05 2500 ST 5.7l. I have added the cruise buttons but nothing happened so I took it to the dealer to see if they could turn it on in the ECM. $120 later they said that their book shows that cruise can not be added to an 05 and there was no option to select on their programmer to turn it on.

Anyone have any ideas of how I should proceed?
