Crossover box????

Anyone have any experience w/ these narrow boxes? If so, did you find yourself running out of room in them?

http://www.buyautotruckaccessories.c...%20crossovers/

I want a box but, I don't want to eat up alot of room in the bed. I do have the LB so I can spare some.

Also looking at the diamond tread bed rails too. Cheap or worth it?

Any advice at all? I know someone has a box.

The biggest thing I would be carrying regularly would be a CO2 bottle (my portable 20 lb on-board air). It would just move from my jeep to the truck. The rest would be straps and some tools etc...

I'd never get one, but that's just me. You're probably not going to get too many replies because I doubt anyone has one. If you don't need alot of storage space but need alot of bed space I guess it would be worth it.

I looked at those boxes. Just not enough space for me. I went with a shallow crossover to have some room under the box.

I have DeeZee brite diamond tread bed rail protectors. Looks good and works great.

I would not even consider one, I need a full sized box.

But hey it it works for you.... get it. I think that once you start using it you will find you need more room.

It is like most everything in like, you usually end up with a bigger one.

I think that would be a better box for a short bed with stacks and a drawtite hitch. Might end up getting me one.

Looks sweet, but I'm not a fan of over the rail boxes.

And if it's too small take some "junk" out

theres not very much room in one of those. Even if it holds all your stuff right now,I still wouldn't go with it. Because when/if you want to carry something more you probably won't have space. And face it there will always be something more that you want to carry.

That's exactly the way I was looking at it. Better to have the room and not need it, rather than need the room and not have it.

I saw a post that mentioned a shallow box. I've not been able to find one on the net. I guess when I get back around civilization (been working in small town Ne), I'll have to find some and go check them out.

I appreciate all the replies. That's what I love about these forums, resources!

You can get a custom box from these guys. I'm getting one made and its only 25.00 more than that slim box.
