My previous truck was an 03 2500 Hemi that I towed a 26'TT with.
After making our first camping trip with new truck and 5er, immediately noticed something with this truck that I noticed with the 03 version. It creaks and groans when it is not dragging a camper behind it. Sounds are most apparent when backing and turning, but also occur when going forward and turning. From inside the cab, the sounds seem to be coming from the truck bed area. Same as the 03, did not have the sounds until after it had pulled a load. Not sure how to describe the sounds, except to say that they sound as if either the frame at the truckbed are twisting, or giving? Not really concerned about the truck falling apart, but mostly curious as to what it is, does it happen to everyone, and what do you tell your wife it is since she asks every time she hears it?

Mine started doing the same thing after I put my new 5er on it. I had Weston Bars put on the same week and I attributed some of the creaking to those until I loosened up one of the bar to frame mounts a little and that stopped. I have had to spray the leaf spring bushings 2x with silicone to quiet them down. I hope that woun't be a regular task.
