Is it covered under the extended warrenty??
I have 45K on the truck and have an extended Chrysler Warrenty and find that the drivers side shock has a lettle seapage and was wondering how bad that is? Also are shocks covered under the extended warrenty, if not what is a fair price to pay for 4 shocks for a 03 Dodge 3500. Tie Kingdom just told me $400 installed I think that is for Monroes. Comments please... Thanks in advance for the info and help.

I don't know if shocks are covered under your warranty or not. But I doubt it. I am sure they will say it is a wear item like tires, wiper blades etc.
But, you don't want them to replace them anyway. The stock shocks are junk. Get yourself a good set, like Rancho 9000s or Bilsteins. They will make a world of difference in the ride and handling.
Personally, I like the Rancho 9000s for the adjustability with 9 different settings which is nice for towing (or not).

Being that I have moved up from mechanicing to the Warranty Administrator position at the dealer I work for, I will let you in on my personal answer to any question that may come up pertaining to a possible warrantable failure. I use this answer for every question I get asked and it works great.
If you have to ask, the answer is NO!
