Considered buying a ricer or something that would get good mileage but by the time you pay for the thing, insurance, gas (even with a 60-70 cent a gallon difference) oil, tires, and everything else it ends up costing more than buying fuel. As I am the only driver in the house it is hard to justify a second set of wheels. Plus the way the idiots around here drive I don't want to consider a bike or anything. Mass transit doesn't fit my work schedule or location either.
I told a guy that was fueling up the same time I was that I would feel better if someone was standing there with a gun on us.
