Cooper Discoverer ATR
My BFG AT 315's are getting near replacement. They've been OK, almost 40K miles so far, but they're a bit aggressive for highway and throw too many stones on gravel (wheel well liners demolished).
Cooper has a somewhat new tire, the Discoverer ATR in size 315/70/17,8 ply, load range D. Is anyone running these and what is the price compared to the BFG's? Is max pressure 50 psi as on the BFG or is it 65 psi as on most 8 ply? I know they have a 10 ply 265 series as well, but I can't go back to these pizza cutters after having the BFG's on there. Thanks for any info.

We are running the ATR's on my wifes F150 SuperCrew. Only had them for about 8000 miles but seem to do well in rain, not very good in slick, sloppy mud. Right after we had them put on was the only time we got the truck stuck, of course it was probably the first/only time the truck was in mud also.
