What is the size (I.D.) of the coolant hose that runs from the overflow bottle to the nipple on the radiatior (just under the radiator cap)?

After installing new new air intake kit, this hose is pushed up at an angle an the coolant is slowly leaking, very slowly.

I was hoping to get a length of hose that is about 4"-6" longer and put the hose back level with the nipple. I might also get a hose clamp to overkill the setup.

I'm pretty sure it is 1/4" hose. I just put a clamp on mine, and seemed to solve the weeping issues!

Weeping a good way to describe the small leak.

So this is a common issue?

I might just try a hose clamp first, before replacing the entire hose.

I had the same problem. I also just put a hose clamp on.

Thanks for the info. I went to NAPA and paid $0.53 for a stainless steel hose clamp, that seemed to solve the leak.
