I am installing a head unit that has a back up camera feature. To activate I need to tap into the reverse lamp, I am looking for a convenient location, preferably in-cab.

My cam was installed by the stereo place that did the rest of my set up so idk off hand what they tapped into. I can get under the truck this weekend and take look. I gotta get under her to do tranny fliud anyway...

thats where i tapped mine.....(not for camera though)

 

White wire, lime green stripe. I tapped it between the firewall, abd the box that has a bazillion wires comming in and out or it near the left kick panel.

 

behind the driver side front tire, under the floorpan.

there's a HUGE connector there.
