Console Cover
What interest do people have in a "Console Cover"?
What is a “Console Cover” you ask?
Well, if you’re like me and live in a 'hot' part of the country (Phoenix to be exact), have you ever gotten into your truck and placed your forearm on top of your center console only to have the first two layers of skin scorched off? Then again, if you live in the 'cold' part of the country (say Alaska), have you ever gotten into your truck and felt your forearm was going to freeze to it? This product is a blessing when it comes to this alone, as it is similar to sitting on a cloth seat.
Well how about a "Console Cover"? They are great for keeping your forearms from the “Holy cr*p that's hot/cold” words we all mumble. Along with protecting your skin, they will also protect from damaging UV rays, sharp objects, or involuntary damage.
Or, do you have a console that has seen its better days? Is your console ripped, stained, cracked, or otherwise unsightly? Then the “Console Cover” is your easy answer.
Have you ever picked up the 'to go order' and you get half way down the road and realize you have no napkins? Or have you ever eaten your lunch on your center console? Well, instead of wiping your hands on your seat, pants, shirt, etc, and we all have, you can use your "Console Cover". I have used this 'feature' many times. It is also semi-absorbent to help prevent the occasional spills from making a bigger mess than necessary.
This product is easily installed under a minute and fits snugly around the console. When needed, the “Console Cover” can be removed and machine-washed. The “Console Cover” does not hinder the operation of the opening and closing in any way, and will stay in place when the console is open.
The "Console Cover" will be available for ALL Dodge Trucks, 2nd Gen (94-02) and 3rd gen (03-Current) in colors still to be determined (possibly black, dark gray, tan, etc)
Product available soon…stay tuned.
The “Console Cover” pictured below has been in my personal truck for 6 years. As you can see the factory console is in the same condition as the day I drove my truck off the lot.

I went to Walmart and got a hand towel that matched the color of the interior and put it on the console. Used some of that rubber mating stuff you put under thrown rugs under the towel to keep it from slipping off.

Did the 'towel thing' for about a year as well, but it didn't fit exact and I got tired of it falling off when the console was opened or flipped up to use the seat, then I would have to 'store' the towel somewhere, just got to cumbersome for me using the towel. So I had to do something 'different'.
