Ding..ding...ding... we have a winner. I remember when fuel prices first went way up and friends scrambled and went out and bought new rigs that get better fuel economy. They failed to realize the payment, insurance, etc is going to cost more. You can buy a lot of fuel with those added costs. They learned the hard way. Not to mention the hit they took trading their rig in as the values went way down as no one wanted to buy a fuel guzzler then. Nor did the dealers want them on the lot. Fortunately that mentality has changed some and our rigs value have gone back up.
