Condenser guard?
Yesterday a bird did a kamakazi run on my truck. Made it through the slot in the bumper and nailed the condenser. Made a sizable imprint in the condenser and left some feathers for indentification.
I would like to hear and see some of y'all solutions for protecting the condenser in this vulnerable area.
Thanks

I bought one of those guards for storm doors or screen doors that prevent cats and such from tearing up the screen.
The one I bought is expanded alum. perfect fit, and it was already painted black. Got it at ACE HARDWARE. Pait about thirty bucks for it

Nick's looks like it's built better...it has a guard for the top of condensor, not just the front. Are there any flow problems or noticeable temp. rises while towing with these guards?

Fixed!
Found some heavy duty steel mesh in our model shop at work. Made a couple of brackets and fitted to the back side of the bumper. I thought about trying to mount it to the condenser but the bumper was easier. And best of all, it was free!
I posted a pic in my gallery.
