Comments on Mopar True Tubular nodrill bars?
Any comments on the 8220 tube side bars sold by mopar? I think these may be the same ones Dealseeker has posted pictures of in a previous thread. Heard they are a pain to install and also not sturdy. Just don't want to buy a $450 set of paperweights... Thanks for any info!

I saw a pair the other day on an 01 and they where just starting to rust at the welds. If it's not guarenteed for life, they probably will rust sooner or later.

True, my problem is there are about 25 brands I can choose from and no doubt more than half are crap. Had a real nice set of Mopar aluminum tubes a few years back, but they no longer offered. ANyone know if the Westin SS bars can be had without a chrome or paint coating?

I have a set of ICI stainless bars for sale. I only had them on my 03 for two weeks but because of my dad being handicapped I switched to running boards. They are like new and in the box for 250.00 plus shipping. I paid 410.00. They mount to the body mounts and say no drilling but you do have to install one screw on each side to a brace.

Joe sorry I did not PM you, I could not get it to work. I think it is operator head space. They are cab length and they have two black plastic steps per side they fit the 03 quad cab. ICI also has a life time warranty. I really liked them but my father does not walk and he felt that he could slip through on them. Any way thanks. If you wan't to call me my phone number is (910)673-4449
