code PO480
i was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with code PO480 coming on? I have had mine at the dealer a number of times and they are yet to solve the problem. They replaced the clutch fan once and replaced the ECM the next time. Niether time did they have the parts in stock, or manage to solve the problem. Do i call and take it back or find another dealer to work on it?

Well, this is what the code is: P0480 Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit/Open (Low Speed Fan Relay)
Have they bothered to do the proper voltage checks and check the actual relay itself? It's kind of dumb to replace the fan before checking that stuff. Not only that, but replacing the ECM without troubleshooting? I would find another dealer. I'm going to do some research on this but I can't guarantee an answer.

The first time I took the truck in P0483 was also coming up. Cooling fan speed. The temp. gauge never seems to go oner about 190 so I didn't think anything was wrong with the fan. Thanks for your input.
