Clever brake controller locations?
Hi guys,
First post here. Just passed 500 miles on the new truck, getting ready to tow the race car up to Nor. Cal. for a race this weekend.
I have a Tekonsha Prodigy electric brake controller that I've been very happy with, and need to figure out where to mount it. On my old truck ('99 F150) it was under the dash on the left side, and I banged my knee more than once getting in/out.
I'm looking for an ingenious place to put the brake controller in the new rig that won't cause ingress/egress problems but still have it within reach for manual trailer brake application. Anybody have clever solutions or suggestions, or simple placements you've been happy with? Pics would be appreciated too.
Thanks in advance!

I removed the screw that mounts the lower part of the dash. Bottom right, under the ashtray.
I then used the screw to mount my controller. I have NEVER bumped my knee on it. It is in reach if i need to manually hit the trailer brakes.
Hope this helps, if you would like a pic, let me know
