Chrysler to go BK Thursday morning (4-30-09)

Per wall street journal- talks broke down today, BK tomorrow...

What does this mean for parts, warranty, 2010 models? Anyone know what we can expect?

New reports the plan isn't to liquidate. I'm sure the goverment will make the tax payers cover the warrenty if the courts don't protect the consumer. The only problem is finding a dealer that would be left to do the work.

Obama and his gang want them to partner with Fiat for their "clean emissions technology" so that they can start making cars shaped like eggs that nobody except hippies will buy.

Obama and gang will appoint Chrysler's new board.

Obama and gang are now "guaranteeing" warranties.

Sounds to me like we should re-name it "Obama/Chrysler/Fiat", or "OCF" for short.

Taxpayers will continue to take it in the shorts on this deal, for years to come.

From what I've read, Fiat today is not the Fiat of the 70s. Their quality is miles ahead of the old days. They went thru bankruptcy and are making money today. They haven't sold in the US because of emissions. They have some small diesels that get 50-60mpg.
I hope they're better than the German blood sucking leeches that owned them previously.

Since it will be the tax paying people that are actually covering the warranties, they better not deny any claims!!
