I put my OEM steps on with purchase, on of the "freebies" I insisted on, but one way or the other they cost me something somewhere I am sure.

I like them for the reason some don't also. They tuck high up and in, mount as sturdy as any and better than most. Mine have no rust or pitting and look pretty much the same as the day I picked up the truck.

I like the look of the OEM better than any I have seen. Just my preference and opinion.

I'm another Nasta user. I forget the website I ordered from but they were approximately $250 for the set for my 2004.5 quadcab 3500 srw. I was worried about what weight they would support without the brackets bending but I can attest that they will support 300 - 365lbs with no problem.
FYI, the only problem that I had with the install was that they sent the wrong set of right side brakets with the kit. A call to the company and I had the correct set in a few days.

I agree with all you said ... luv mine in the summer but as soon as the snow flies they are useless and dangerous ... Texas doesn't have this problem eh

Not where I am in Texas. Last time there was enough snow and ice to be a problem was December 23, 1989. I remember it very well the temp was 7 degree overnight, snow and ice covered everything and I got married at 2:30pm that day. Kinda like the day my hell froze over.

Same problem with mine. When it happened to me I couldn't get the Quad doors open until I thawed out the ice ***** in the shop.

I did the Nasta's too. Great fit and work well. I am 350 pounds and have no problems.

Got them for $240 shipped.
