Chest Box
I have 04 dodge short bed and want to put in a chest box next to my cab. I have a tank that is 18''wide that I want to put in the chest. I had this set up in ol 93 and worked out fine but now with this short i need to know how big of a box that will work and not hit the finder wells I also have a bed liner so that don't help.I guess all need to know is what size box will work and not hit the wheel wells.My tank is 48'' long .17'' high .THANKS

If you are talking about a bed mounted tool box, I have one on my 2004.5 short bed Quad cab. It is a standard pick up size, in fact it came off my 2003 F150 I traded in. It lapped over the side rails a little on the F150 and only comes to about half way on the side rails on the Ram.
go find a short bed in a parking lot and measure it ....how tuff is that
