Check your fuel filling caps after a rain..
I've noticed after heavy rain that there is water dripping off my fuel cap when I remove it on the threaded side, someone else ever see this? I smelled the fuel and it seems diluted there (not a good thing since water destroys the fuel injectors & pump, and the rest of the fuel system) I will look for a better cap to eliminate this. Feel free to substanciate on this fellas.

I noticed it the other day as well but wrote it off to condensation. Can't remember if it had rained recently.

Casey

I am not a real big fan of the 1/4 turn release for that fuel cap at all. Have not noticed water on the inside but will check Thursday as we had a lot : of rain today. The cap just never seems to be on tight enough.
Jeff

Water on the cap is condensation because the humidity is 99%+ and the temperatures are cool. Check the o-ring seal, if it is in good condition water can't get into the tank, unless you leave the cap off.

We have one TV weather person out here who admits to have driven off 4 or 5 times with fuel nozzle still in filler neck. Ouch!
He's not good at forcasting the weather either. ???
