Changine burn't out dash lights
Hi there,
New to the Forum,
I have a 2004 diesel dodge ram and was wondering how to change some of the burn't out bulbs in my dash. Had a quick look up there and it look as though the whole dash needs to come apart to get in there?
Can anyone offer some tips or suggestions?
Thanks
Greg

If the 04 is the same as the 03 , it is not as bad as it looks.
-manual says to disconnect batteries to prevent accidental air bag deployment.(I did not when I pulled my cluster out and it was fine)
-remove screw above panty hook(garbage bag hook)
-pull center bezel off(heater and ac controls, radio), there is clips holding it on, a tool to help pry them out is helpfull
-remove headlight switch bezel, just clips holding it on
-remove cluster bezel (piece around instrument cluster) there are two screws on the top and two clips on the bottom
-now your at the cluster, remove the four screws pull the cluster out and there is three wire harnesses on the back
