CB mount question
I am new to the third gen. I kept the cb from my first gen but am not sure where to mount in in the 04.5. I would greatly appreciate any photos or help.

I mounted my old one with a "Big Bob" CB mount on my 04.5. Same can be found on the Internet. Mine is one that is offset to the right side of center console to make room for manual/4x4 shifter. Works great for me and is very easy and solid install.

CB Mount
Here's mine. Made some brackets out of aluminum strip I had, put the CB mount on those. The mounts are screwed thru the tunnel hump with self tappers, on my truck there isn't anything behind/below that area, but you should double check yours to be sure.

I mounted mine out of sight and easily reached behind center console offset to passenger side a little. I can reach it very easily and a quick glance I can see channels etc. Very simple bracket. I just wanted it out of sight cause it sure is an eye sore in the front and hardly no one rides back there anyway, but it is not in the way if someone does ride back there. Well I was going to post picture but I seem to have erased it. I have posted it before in a similar post though.

Mine's mounted to a piece of 2 x 3 x 3/16 angle iron that's clamped to the bed rail over the Rhino Lining. The backdoor closes on the coax and runs under the toolbox lid. Surprisingly, the SWRs check out at 1.3:1. It has a magnetic base so I can put it in the tool box if I'm gonna park in 'hostile' territory.
