I just did a guage test and my WIF light did NOT come on.

Did you guys notice that everyone with an '06 truck who responded the WIF did not come on. Perhaps on the '06 models it's not supposed to.

06 here...

No "Service 4WD" light
No "Runflat" light
No "Water in fuel" light
No "Auto 4WD" light

and one other I can't make out...

P.S. Can anyone confirm 10 engine light flashes after the end of engine codes after it says "DONE" it flashes 10 times then stays on?

Runflat tires...they have an indicator to let you know when your tires are low on pressure.

It looks like a flat tire with an arrow or lightning bolt in it on your dash, it's in the area in the middle above and to the left of the Water in Fuel, IIRC?

you can buy a diesel with runflat or is it a generic gauge cluster?

They're not run-flat tires. It's just a low pressure warning light. I believe it mandatory now on the 1/2-ton trucks.

Same here, 06 and no light during the test. And I have some codes, but I'm not too worried about them. Yet.

Check this out.

It was bugging me, so I just unplugged the connector and shorted the two wires on the connector with a small piece of wire, turned on the key and it came on. At least I know the lamp is working.
I read in the service manual and as far as I can tell it is supposed to come on when you turn the key on initially and when yoy do the odometer button trick. I don't know why mine or any body else with an 06 dosent but thats as far as I can get.
