Cab and Chassis being built, have VIN #

I guess we will find out pretty quick how the cab and chassis with the new engine and transmission will hold up under heavy towing conditions. My dealer says it should be here within a month. It is being built now, I have the VIN #. Sometimes there can be a holdup at the rail head he says,
but once there is a VIN #, the truck is built pretty quick. I'm looking forward to the new truck, just hate the thought of the new payments. Anyone looking for an 03 with over 330,000 miles on it?
Equipment includes:
SLT Chassis Cab (single cab) 167" wb
6.7 Cummins engine
6 - speed Ansin transmission
Silver clear coat
cloth 40-20-40 prem seat
trailer tow prep group
anti-spin differential
fog lights
cargo light
federal emissions
diesel exhaust brake
full size spare
light group
tow hooks
The 11 ft bed is being installed at Texas Truck and Body. At the present time there are no incentives. Maybe before it gets here there will be but I doubt it.

Cool! Do you know how wide it is? 96" like the dually P/Us or maybe 90" like the old C&Cs. How high is it to the top of the frame? I'd sure like to see one! That might be my next trade. Craig

It is a SLT single cab, long wb cab & chassis. The MSRP is $21,830, the 6.7 engine is $5,555, the Ansin transmission is $2,295, and the exhaust brake is $300. Those are MSRP prices. I got it for invoice, with the equiptment listed above.

The cab & chassis trucks will have the narrow rear axle, I don't know how high it will be to the top of the frame.

I don't think, at least I have heard that trucks delivered before Jan. 1 will not have the NOX filters on them. As far as the fuel goes, if they deliver it, it should run on the fuel available. I'm not going to worry about it. It won't hurt the engine, it just might mess up the emissions system some.

Retail compliance for ULSD is Oct. 15.... Refinery compliance was June 1... most stations are already selling ULSD.

G56 is the base transmission. 6 speed Aisin auto is the optional transmission...
