Bugshield and vent visors
I need a bugshield. But I want a bugshield that actually shoots the bugs to the top half of the windshield! So wich one actually works?
I want vent visors. Are the weathertechs the only ones that do not use tape?

Mine is a combination bug / deer deflector. The top deflector works like most deflectors, pushing the insect to the upper portion or above the windshield. The bottom " deflector " is for that pesky deer. It deflects that critter down and under the front and then rear tires.

My top deflector works like mnmlod's - I believe it's a Stampede. My bottom deflector shoots the critters down and sideways to keep 'em off the windshield and from underneath the truck.

I really think a bug deflector is just for looks. The ones I have seen just guide them up far enough to splat them right at eye level, if that far up.
And do not worry about those funky truck/bumper pic's. Those bumpers really do not help to deflect any bugs, just man-van guy's having too post pic's of their man-van's for others too see.

For a serious answer about the vent visors, I got mine from
http://www.stylinconcepts.com
They are mounted in the window channel.
Have had them on for about a year and no probs.
This is how they look.

I gave a serious answer in amongst the crap.
Bugshield and vent visors are Stampede! Do a search, because I'm not sure what their website is.

Hey Reb, I have vent visors, I got the kind that goes up inside channel, not the kind that sticks on, they work well and they also look good to me. I don't have a bug deflector, but am thinking about one. If you get one and it works good, would you pm me. Also, anyone, what is a MANVAN? Endearing term for Megacab? Haven't heard that term before.

That's OK. I'll admit being a little off the wall. How else can one work with H2S poisonous gas for a career?
Found the website for you guys: www.stampedeproducts.com
My bug deflector and window deflectors are made by them.
