Buckshot Mudders

I saw a set of Maxxis Buckshot Mudders size 305 70r17 for $155 a piece. Does anyone have any experience with these tires?

They are awesome mudders, plus they look great, but thats it. They wear out very fast. Pretty much off road only tire. I had a set on a Pissan in a 34 x 9.5 and I think I got about 25-30k and ran them to the cords almost. Still worked better than some new mudders from Les Schwab.

Had a set of 305 / 85 /16.5 , got about 20k and ran them to the cords also. I can still hear the hummm in my ears years later, loud, very loud tires. Never had a problem. Running 35 inch BFG's now with about 40k and still have good tread.

?????????????????

You guys talking about the old cleated off road Buckshot tires or the new radial Maxxis tires?

I have the radial Maxxis on my Jeep Cherokee and love them! This is my second set. The first set got 30K and then I drove a stob thought the tread. They are quite and ride great. I have 31x10.5x15s on the Jeep.

My friend Scott has a new F-250 Powerstroke 4x4 and put a set on it with 200 miles on the truck.

These aren't the old Buckshots...............jim
